Breaking news: Officials say suspect never had sight of Donald Trump on golf course

The suspect in the apparent Trump assassination attempt did not fire his rifle or have the former president in his sightline, officials said.

Investigators say the suspect, Ryan W. Routh, waited near a golf course for about 12 hours before he was spotted by the Secret Service.
